Goals
Create a cinematic and emotionally charged feature piece for K-State Esports’ Rainbow Six Siege tournament — The Manhattan Project — highlighting the most competitive collegiate R6 teams in the nation while reinforcing K-State’s leadership in collegiate esports.
Challenge
Balance the demands of a live, high-stakes tournament environment with the precision of cinematic storytelling, lighting, and VFX, all under a tight production schedule.
Our Role
fairlyOdd handled concept development, storyboarding, on-site production, and post/VFX — along with livestream support, recap content, player headshots, and event poster design — delivering a unified content package for K-State Esports.

Creative Approach
Visuals: We leaned into high‑contrast, color‑separated lighting with controllable practicals to push a premium feel. Thanks to a productive tech scout, we were able to storyboard, shot list and create lighting diagrams
VFX: Custom HUD elements, kinetic type, and brand‑forward glitch/energy accents reinforced the K‑State identity without overwhelming the footage. Graphics were built to be modular for both the hero film and social tr
